The Pan Enfield Alliance is running the school-led ITT Scheme School Direct for 2018/19 and is currently recruiting on UCAS.
The scheme provides an alternative route into teaching, resulting in QTS status.
School Direct (salaried and tuition fee) places
We are offering post graduate, one year, training programmes that have been tailor made to offer a wide range of experiences in 2 or more schools in the Enfield area. The majority of the training will be located at Highlands School, and Winchmore School with smaller amounts of time at other schools within our Alliance. We have two dates this year: 4th December; and 31st January.
Sixth Formers into Teaching
This is an exciting project to encourage current and ex-sixth formers to consider teaching as a profession in the future. A presentation is given to students in Year 12 to set out the attractions of teaching and the phases of the scheme. Taster days in the student’s sector of choice within the Alliance are organised during Years 12 and 13. Students may then wish to participate in the School Experience and School Direct routes into teaching.
