Our Research and Development is dedicated to undertaking a number of small scale focused action research projects with the aim of improving teaching and learning and student progress across the Alliance. We will be referring to up to date national and international research evidence and the group will customise their enquiry to focus on:
- Maximising the impact of TAs
- Using Solution Focussed Coaching to improve student outcomes
- Using self regulation to improve writing
- Parent – teacher – student partnerships: acting on formative feedback
Our aim is to make the research practical and of immediate benefit to the participants and their schools; applicable to classroom pedagogy as well as in the context of leadership roles.
